Quorum is a Dublin-based mobile chat app that provides a subscription chat platform for creators and service providers to communicate directly with clients. Founded in 2019 by three Irish engineers, the product offers moderation tools, user management features, and monetisation capabilities tailored to small, passionate businesses. Early users include business coaches, personal stylists, and learning and development groups. The team pivoted from community tools (Monaru) after taking part in Y Combinator in San Francisco and identified missing administration features in existing chat platforms. Quorum raised €1.7 million in a seed round and will use the funds to grow its product team and accelerate platform growth.
