  • Board

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2026

Board makes a 24-inch touchscreen in a wood-finish frame that uses proprietary technology to recognize physical game pieces, combining tactile board-game elements with interactive digital experiences. Founded by Brynn Putnam, the company is three years old and based in New York; Putnam previously sold Mirror to Lululemon for $500 million. Board reports strong early traction, with the device deployed in tens of thousands of homes, schools, hospitals, and restaurants across all 50 states and 85% of customers averaging 30 or more play sessions per month. The company previously raised $15 million in a round led by Lerer Hippeau. As part of its product roadmap, Board plans to launch Board Studio, an AI-powered game-creation platform, later this year.

  • Polsia

    Participated · Equity · May 2026

Polsia builds an orchestration platform of AI agents intended to manage core business workflows such as coding, research, cold outreach, paid advertising, and customer support. The founder framed the product as enabling AI to run companies, asserting the approach lowers barriers to company creation by allowing individuals to build with “an idea and a laptop.” Polsia said it ran its own fundraising process on the platform, using the system to manage the data room, investor briefings, and diligence. The company reported it is approaching a $10 million annual run rate while operating with one human and no employees. Polsia named a variety of infrastructure and technology partners, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, AWS, and others, as part of its ecosystem. The company presented its long-term mission as expanding participation in the AI economy by enabling more autonomous company operations.

  • Patronus Group

    Participated · Equity · Apr 2026

Founded in 2020 and based in Berlin, Patronus builds a digital safety and companion solution for older adults centered on a smartwatch and a family mobile app. The wristwatch-style device provides mobile connectivity and a one-press connection to an emergency call centre, removing the need for dedicated home infrastructure. The companion app keeps family members informed and connected without intrusive monitoring. Patronus reports tens of thousands of users and higher daily usage rates than traditional emergency devices, and its platform has handled a substantial number of emergency responses. The company plans to scale across Europe and to expand product features, including development of an AI-powered companion and additional family-focused wellbeing capabilities.

  • Sandbar

    Led · Series A · Mar 2026

Sandbar is an AI hardware startup founded by former Meta employees Mina Fahmi and Kirak Hong that makes the Stream, a microphone-equipped smart ring dedicated to hands-free note-taking. The ring’s mic is normally off and is activated by touching a capacitive panel, after which audio is transcribed and analyzed in a companion phone app that also supports multi-turn conversations with an AI assistant and basic media controls. Early demand has been encouraging: the first preorder batch sold out and a second batch has been opened, with some testers using the device more than 50 times per day. The 15-person team, whose alumni hail from Amazon, Fitbit, Equinox, Google, and Apple, has spent over two years developing the product and plans to begin shipping this summer. Near-term road-map items include a web platform, lower response latency, a refined UI, and agentic workflows that act on captured notes. Longer term, Sandbar may open the app to users without the ring, broadening its market. The company has raised $36 million to date, enabling it to double its software and machine-learning headcount and hire marketing staff ahead of launch.
