Quside builds quantum randomness solutions—QRNG devices and a randomness processing unit (RPU)—for cybersecurity and high-performance computing customers. The company recently upgraded its QRNG line to a 1 gigabit-per-second rate and launched its RPU on Amazon Web Services to ease corporate adoption. Founded in 2017 and based in Barcelona, Quside employs roughly 42–45 people. The capital from the funding round will support internationalization, scale its product range and production capacity, and accelerate sales and marketing. Quside plans to hire specialists in quantum systems engineering, semiconductor chips, FPGA and software development, as well as commercial profiles. It already works with partners and customers such as EY, Telefónica, Juniper and Qrypt.
