RAIKU Packaging
Mureli 3, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 10617, Estonia
Overview
RAIKU, founded in 2021 and based in Tallinn, develops eco-friendly protective packaging alternatives using a wooden-spring filling material. The product is chemical-free, compostable, expands raw material volume by 15–20×, and requires minimal water and energy while providing shock absorption. RAIKU highlights a low CO2 footprint and positions its material as an alternative to bubble wrap, paper and cardboard. The company accelerates development through partnerships with the AIRE center for AI and robotics, Taltech Wood Laboratory, and MindTitan, plus broad support from the Estonian startup ecosystem and state agencies. Primary production is already exported across Europe and the company says dozens of international customers are waiting. Proceeds will fund product development, the first factory and automated industrial lines, equipment acquisition, team expansion, and global production scaling.
