Overview
Ravacan builds a cloud-based CRM-style platform for manufacturing sourcing managers and suppliers that automates price updates and centralizes sourcing workflows. Founder Anne-Sophie Le Bloas, after roles at Rolls Royce and Fitbit, incorporated Ravacan in May 2019; the MVP launched in January 2020 and the first customer, Molekule, signed in October 2019. The platform reduced a price-update process for Molekule from 10 weeks to 2 weeks and decreased required team members from four to three. Ravacan helped Molekule exceed savings targets by 2% in Q1 2020, with those savings continuing into Q2 2020. The product automates quarterly price updates for electronic and mechanical components and is developing a tool register for vendor assets and a sourcing feature for first-time RFQs. Ravacan plans to use its recently closed seed round to expand deployments across more customers and deepen integrations with PLM and ERP systems.
