Raze Therapeutics discovers and develops a new class of oncology therapeutics that target mitochondrial one‑carbon (1C) metabolic pathways essential to tumor growth and survival. The company has created a proprietary drug discovery platform to identify agents that selectively starve cancer cells of biomass precursors. Raze is advancing programs directed at both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including genetically defined cancers. Its scientific founders include Vamsi Mootha, Joshua Rabinowitz, and David Sabatini, and the scientific advisory board also features Keith Flaherty and Michael Gilman. Management includes Jason Rhodes (acting CEO) and a board with partners from Atlas Venture, MPM Capital, MS Ventures, and Partners Innovation Fund. Proceeds from the recently closed financing will be used to advance its 1C metabolism therapeutic programs.
