Reactec offers HAVwear, a wearable device and analytics system that monitors the vibration individuals are exposed to when using hand-held tools and provides real-time personal data. The system, launched in 2016, supplies data analysis to support measures to reduce workforce HAV exposure. Since release the company has shipped 10,000 units. Reactec is led by CEO Jacqui McLaughlin. Following a further £700k funding round the company plans to recruit four additional sales and engineering team members, taking headcount to 27. It will use the funds to enable international expansion and further research and development.
