San Francisco, CA, United States
Overview
Recapp operates an AI-driven sports media app that curates short, “Stories”-style video recaps, real-time statistics, scores, and social media updates based on each user’s favorite teams and leagues. Launched in September 2024, the app already counts tens of thousands of U.S. users and covers basketball, American football, baseball, hockey, soccer, college sports, and other leading leagues. The product is currently free and ad-supported, with plans to introduce expanded advertising, a subscription tier, and ticketing integrations. Future roadmap items include personalization around favorite players and fantasy teams as well as the addition of more leagues. Founded in 2024 by former IntSights CEO Guy Nizan, Ron Maayan, and ex-NFL digital executive Blake Stuchin, the company employs about 20 people across the United States and Israel and is scaling its Tel Aviv R&D center. Funding from the latest round is expected to support product development and team expansion through 2026.
