Redefine is an Israeli Decentralized Finance (DeFi) security startup that provides institutional investors a smart platform that automatically analyzes risk, monitors market changes in real time, and proactively protects capital in the event of a cyber attack. Founded in June 2021 by Dr. Shira Brezis (CEO) and Alon Ram (CTO), the company employs 14 people, many of whom served in elite IDF technology units. Redefine has secured partners such as Fireblocks and is working with prominent beta customers including Celsius Network to iterate its offering. In January 2022 the company raised $11M in seed funding at a $50M valuation. The round was led by Ribbit Capital with participation from Jump Capital, ParaFi Capital, More VC and Accomplice Blockchain. Redefine plans to use the proceeds to recruit talent for its Israeli and US offices, further research and development, and build out the product.
