Reflect provides a visualization-as-a-service product that lets customers add data visualizations to web and mobile apps via a software agent that fetches data from a database or an optionally self-hosted agent. Users map database columns to dimensions and metrics, then build dashboards with a drag-and-drop interface and restyle components to match their brand; an API is available for teams that want to work with code. The product emphasizes no-code onboarding to reduce friction and targets the developer community, with community-focused marketing. Reflect is currently in private beta, working with a few select partners while fielding more interest than it can handle. The company plans a public beta this winter that will be self-serve. Reflect will use the new funding to build out its product; co-founder and CEO Alex Bilmes has six years of data-visualization experience (including at Cloudability and Lucid Labs) and founded the company with Brad Heller.
