Remedee Labs has developed a novel, non-pharmaceutical pain management approach that stimulates a patient’s endorphins using electricity rather than drugs. Its core technology is the patented Microelectronic Endorphin Trigger (MEET) module, described as the first millimeter-wave emitting module for medical usage. The miniaturized MEET module enables implementation in small wearable devices and could allow self-administered treatment. The company says the solution is safe, fast, and simple, and follows years of R&D and testing of scientific viability. Remedee Labs intends to use recent funding to support the next phase of clinical testing and to make its work public. The startup was founded in 2016 in Grenoble, France by Jacques Husser, David Crouzier, and Michael Foerster.
