REPP
1411 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202, United States
Overview
REPP builds a digital identity verification platform that lets users verify their identity, link and confirm social media accounts, and run self-service background checks using patent-pending technology. Verified REPP profiles can be embedded and shared across e-commerce, dating, and networking sites, and users can request others to verify their identity. The company was co-founded in 2012 by Michael Bergman, Adam Daniel, Stephen Hartz, David Volker, and BreeAnna Bergman and is a graduate of The Brandery accelerator. REPP has been recognized as a finalist in the Kauffman Foundation's 'Get in the Ring' competition and listed among Global Entrepreneurship Week's '50 Promising Startups,' CNBC's 'Most Promising Companies,' and the Cincinnati Enquirer's '10 Startups to Watch.' In January 2014 REPP received a $250,000 investment from CincyTech (via CincyTech Fund III). REPP said the funding would help bring the product to more people and platforms and support planned partnerships and user growth in the first quarter of 2014.
