Resilco has developed a patented technology that treats certain alkaline industrial wastes (including incineration fly ash and steel production slags) to produce secondary raw materials usable in the construction supply chain while permanently storing CO₂ as part of the process. The company completed laboratory validation and process engineering and has built an experimental semi-industrial plant in Busnago to certify products and pursue 'end of waste' qualification. Resilco emphasizes a business model where environmental impact is coupled with economic value, aiming to reduce disposal costs and create marketable materials. Its plan is to commercialize replicable plants installed at customer sites to scale close to waste generation points.
