Restorative Neurotechnologies
Via Libertà 112, Palermo, Sicilia, 90143, Italy
Overview
Restorative Neurotechnologies is an Italian startup developing medical devices and telemedicine solutions for rehabilitation and cognitive enhancement. It is a spin-off of Palermo University, was incubated by Consortium Arca and accelerated by SocialFare through the FOUNDAMENTA program, and was founded by Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience Massimiliano Oliveri. Its flagship product, Mindlenses Professional, is a wearable glasses device with prismatic lenses that non-invasively modulates brain activity by selectively deviating the field of vision to target cerebral hemispheres. The device is intended to enhance attention, memory and language and to support neurorehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and neurodevelopmental disorders (DSA, ADHD). The company aims to commercialize its solutions in Italy and internationally and to develop telemedicine approaches to facilitate de-hospitalization of patients with neurological diseases. Restorative closed a €1M funding round to continue investing in research, collect further scientific evidence and expand commercial capabilities for corporate scale-up.
