Rethink provides a software-as-a-service platform that offers web-based learning and care management tools for professionals, parents and family members who teach children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Its curriculum is based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Founded in 2007 and led by CEO Daniel Etra, the company is based in New York City. Rethink raised a $10m Series C round led by Beringea and Arboretum Ventures with participation from existing investors. In conjunction with the funding, Michael Gross of Beringea and Paul McCreadie of Arboretum Ventures will join Rethink’s board. The company plans to use the funds to support sales and operational hiring and to further develop and add functionality to its existing platforms.
