Revisto is an AI-powered platform that automates and streamlines the medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review workflow for pharmaceutical marketing materials. Its engine was developed using terabytes of proprietary pharmaceutical data and leverages customers’ brand-specific data plus real-time FDA 21 CFR regulations and guidelines to detect and recommend changes. The solution integrates with existing review workflows and CMS software such as Veeva Vault PromoMats to shorten review cycles and reduce compliance risk. Revisto projects it can save life-sciences clients an estimated $15 million or more per brand annually by cutting time and cost associated with MLR reviews. The company plans to expand its team and accelerate product development to increase the depth and breadth of what its engine can detect and recommend and to broaden its services. Financially, Revisto announced a $4M seed round that brings total funding to $6M; the company currently has more than ten team members and is based in Austin, Texas.
