- Leal Therapeutics
Participated · Series A · Aug 2026
Leal Therapeutics focuses on developing neuro-metabolic treatments for high-need central nervous system disorders and was launched in 2021. Its lead program, LTX-001, is a brain-penetrant oral GLS1 inhibitor that completed single and multiple ascending dose Phase 1 trials and has initiated a Phase 1b/2a trial in adults with schizophrenia with initial data expected by year-end. A second program, LTX-002, is an intrathecally delivered antisense oligonucleotide targeting SPTLC1 and is being evaluated in the NeurALS Phase 1/2 trial in adults with ALS. The company also is developing a next-generation CNS delivery platform using antibody-like shuttle technology to enable transport of peripherally administered therapeutics to the brain. Leal states it has capabilities to develop and produce both small molecule and nucleic acid CNS therapeutics. The recent Series A second close of $30 million, which added Eli Lilly to its investor syndicate, is intended to support clinical milestones for LTX-001 and additional dosing cohorts for LTX-002.
- InduPro
Participated · Series B · Aug 2026
InduPro uses a proprietary proximity-guided platform to map spatial organization of proteins on the cell surface and discover selective co-target pairs for therapeutic development. Its lead program, IDP-001, is a potential first-in-class proximity-based bispecific antibody-drug conjugate targeting EGFR and a novel Tumor-Associated Proximity Antigen (TAPA-E1). IDP-001 was designed to enhance tumor selectivity, target internalization, and antitumor efficacy while aiming to preserve tolerability, and the first patient has been dosed in its Phase 1 study. The Phase 1 trial is enrolling adults with advanced or metastatic squamous and non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer and other squamous solid tumors to evaluate safety, pharmacokinetics and preliminary antitumor activity. Beyond ADCs, InduPro is developing bispecific antibodies including antibody-drug conjugates and T-cell engagers to build a pipeline of first- and best-in-class programs. The company operates out of Seattle and Cambridge, Mass., and is advancing both clinical and preclinical programs supported by venture and strategic pharma investors.
- Amplifica
Participated · Series B · Aug 2026
Amplifica is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing injectable therapies aimed at reactivating dormant hair follicles and promoting new hair growth. The company has built a proprietary portfolio of signaling molecules that regulate the hair follicle growth cycle and said its candidates activate follicle regeneration through distinct, complementary mechanisms of action. Amplifica will be initiating product development programs and clinical trials to evaluate safety and efficacy and to seek regulatory approvals. The company’s currently marketed products are primarily intended to slow or prevent further hair loss, while the pipeline targets regeneration. Amplifica raised $26 million in an oversubscribed Series B Preferred Stock financing to fund its clinical development plans. The company is based in San Diego and is addressing androgenetic alopecia, a condition the company notes affects over 50 million men and over 30 million women in the United States.
- Remedium Bio
Participated · Series A · Aug 2026
Remedium Bio is advancing a proprietary Prometheus™ platform designed to enable controlled, long-lasting expression of therapeutic proteins by harnessing adipocytes as a durable site for production. The platform aims to provide multi-year benefit with adjustable dosing following minimally invasive subcutaneous administration and to replace many subcutaneously administered protein therapies with single-injection, adjustable gene therapies. Its pipeline includes programs targeting endocrinology, immunology, neurology, and musculoskeletal diseases. The company recently completed an initial closing of a $10 million Series A led by LifeSpan Vision Ventures, with participation from Eli Lilly and Company and HKX Capital. Remedium is using the financing to advance lead programs, expand the platform, and prepare for first-in-human clinical studies. The announcement was issued from Norwalk, Connecticut.
