Revolver Therapeutics was spun out of the University of Bath to commercialize a proprietary Transcription Block Survival platform that discovers cell-penetrating peptides designed to inhibit transcription factors. The company focuses on producing first-in-class, cell-penetrating peptide therapeutics and is advancing initial assets into colorectal cancer. Company scientists report they have demonstrated stopping tumour cell growth in laboratory studies and have addressed challenges of intracellular delivery. Revolver has received institutional backing including UKI2S (which first invested in 2024), QantX, and support from the University of Bath’s Technology Transfer team. The recent £572k round will fund further platform development and progression of its pipeline toward therapeutic candidates for cancers with unmet needs.
