The company raised a $2.9 million Series A, according to an SEC filing, and says it collected capital from four investors. CEO Brett Butler said the company plans to remain in stealth until October or November as it prepares product announcements. The filing does not describe the company’s specific technology, and Butler declined to name the investors publicly. The SEC filing lists directors with mailing addresses at Oklahoma-based Square Deal Capital Inc. and Nevada-based Novus Via LP. Butler’s background includes leadership roles at RidgeTech Group, Freescale Semiconductor, and as president and CEO of Axiom Microdevices.
