Flaunt builds a brand loyalty platform that helps e-commerce businesses create gamified campaigns and community management tools to retain and acquire customers. The platform links core business systems such as loyalty programs and Shopify with mass-engagement platforms like Roblox and Instagram to create more effective loyalty experiences. The company says its solution enables brands to capture first-party data at scale and drive personalized engagement. Flaunt launched out of venture studio High Alpha last year and currently has five employees. The startup reports early commercial relationships with companies including PepsiCo, Hilton and Lamborghini. It will use the new funding to further develop its loyalty platform and scale its product.

EMRes Technologies was founded earlier this year and is operating in stealth while developing products aimed at the audio market. The company raised a $2.9 million Series A, according to an SEC filing, and says it collected capital from four investors. CEO Brett Butler said the company plans to remain in stealth until October or November as it prepares product announcements. The filing does not describe the company’s specific technology, and Butler declined to name the investors publicly. The SEC filing lists directors with mailing addresses at Oklahoma-based Square Deal Capital Inc. and Nevada-based Novus Via LP. Butler’s background includes leadership roles at RidgeTech Group, Freescale Semiconductor, and as president and CEO of Axiom Microdevices.
