Rimere develops plasma-based technologies—the Reformer and the Mitigator—to reduce greenhouse‑gas emissions and deliver affordable zero‑emission hydrogen. The Reformer uses sequential hybrid plasma technology to transform natural gas into hydrogen and high‑quality graphene without producing CO2 and can achieve a negative carbon‑intensity rating when fed with renewable natural gas. The Mitigator is a plasma thermal oxidizer designed to lower the greenhouse‑gas potency of fugitive methane from natural gas infrastructure such as compressors and pneumatic controllers. Rimere plans to accelerate development and field testing of both devices to enable cleaner use of natural gas and support a transition to hydrogen. The company has raised $18.25 million of committed capital to date since its formation in 2020 and is currently an equity‑method investee of Clean Energy.
