Rithum is a London-based smart home connectivity company that produces a touch panel replacing a standard light switch to control lighting, audio, and climate. The device supports paid software add-ons (plug-ins) aimed at mid- and upper-market buyers while remaining accessible to consumers. Since being founded in 2020, Rithum has sold over 1,600 devices and hundreds of plug-ins and has been distributed across multiple European markets. Led by CEO Ryan Ovens, the company plans to use new funds to launch an enhanced product version and further develop its hardware and plug-in software technology. It also intends to hire software engineering talent to support those developments. The recent seed funding will support these operational and product-development activities.
