Robin Valley creates eco-friendly wood jewellery and accessories featuring hand-painted motifs and currently offers around 1,200 unique designs. Its products are sold through outlets including National Trust Scotland, WWF-UK, Merlin Entertainments, museums, galleries and zoos. The business is based in Waterloo, just north of Liverpool, and is scaling production to meet increasing demand. Robin Valley plans to expand via greater attendance at key trade shows and increased marketing. The company expects the expansion to create up to five new jobs. Its managing director has characterised the funding as timely for reaching a wider, global market.
