Overview
Hearts Radiant develops Rosita Longevity, a personal coaching digital health app aimed at improving quality of life and healthy life expectancy for people over 60. The app remotely applies a personalised Longevity Plan methodology developed at the Longevity School in the Balneario de Cofrentes, built from 20 years of institutional experience (the institution serves 15,000 users annually). Rosita Longevity launched in 2020. The company is founded by Clara Fernández, Juan Cartagena, and David Gil; Fernández is director of the Longevity School. With new funding Hearts Radiant plans to improve the app, scale the product, start monetisation, and begin internationalisation to the United States. The start-up previously ran a beta in Spain following an October 2020 €430,000 round led by JME Ventures. The company offers Rosita, a digital coach delivering livestreamed and on-demand classes (cardio flamenco, age-appropriate yoga, reduced-mobility dance, osteoarthritis-safe karate) and personalised habit-forming programs for people aged 60+. The app has been in beta since January on Android (iOS planned) and currently serves 1,000 active testers with 5,000 pre-registrations in Spain. Co-founders Juan Cartagena (CEO), Clara Fernández (CCO) and CTO David Gil draw on Fernández’s experience running the Balneario de Cofrentes senior longevity program and are working with Dr. José Viña on geroscience research. The team plans to add an AI-powered personalised coach, expand content and add sensor hardware to improve frailty prediction and user stratification. The product is positioned as preventive longevity tech (B2C) with a premium-content monetization plan, while remaining free during the pandemic and possibly into 2022.
