Saisudhir Infrastructures is an EPC firm concentrating on water supply, irrigation, solid waste management and sanitation, and it also operates in power, energy and road segments. Over the last three years the company has shifted from being primarily a sub-contractor on large infrastructure projects to acting as a prime contractor, a relatively higher-margin business. It has an order book of Rs 1,000 crore over the next 12–18 months. According to a CARE report the firm grew at a CAGR of about 118% from FY07 to FY09, with revenues of Rs 242 crore in FY09 versus Rs 91 crore in FY08. Clients include IVRCL Infrastructure and Projects Ltd, the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, GAIL, NTPC and the National Highways Authority of India; the company plans to use new funding to bid for larger projects.
