Led by founder and President Naresh Patel, the company focuses on Cloud Computing, DevSecOps, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and application development using microservices and API architectures. Optimoz serves enterprises and federal agencies and has supported customers in refactoring and migrating applications to Amazon AWS and container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift. In May 2018 the company raised $2 million in a Series A led by the Global Environment Fund. The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its enterprise DevSecOps platform service. Optimoz positions itself to address the evolving software supply chain and broad adoption of cloud computing by emphasizing productivity and secure software delivery.

Founded in 2001, Chainalytics has grown to more than 80 employees with offices in Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Bangalore, India. In 2011 the company completed two acquisitions to add capabilities in logistics operations, service supply chain, and packaging optimization. Management will retain a considerable equity stake following the transaction. The company plans to use the investment to accelerate strategic growth, expand geographically, broaden content-based services, and enhance its service delivery platform.

    Kalki Communication Technologies develops hardware and software products and offers services to monitor, manage and optimise energy generation and transmission assets for public utilities and industrial customers. Its product lines include SYNC and ELTRIX, which it also sells to OEMs for integration. The company operates in the IT services and system-integration space and generates revenues from product sales and service contracts. Kalki has a product development centre in Kochi and maintains offices in the UAE and the USA. Founded in 1998, the company is led by co-founders Prasanth Gopalakrishnan (CEO) and Sushil Cherian (CTO) alongside other senior management. Prior to the current transaction, the entire stake was held by the promoters and management.

Clients include IVRCL Infrastructure and Projects Ltd, the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, GAIL, NTPC and the National Highways Authority of India; the company plans to use new funding to bid for larger projects.

Installed in individual vending machines, the company’s Seed device monitors transactions and transmits data via cellular networks and the Internet Cloud, enabling operators to know each machine’s inventory without a physical visit. Cantaloupe completed a $12.4M third round of funding and has raised approximately $18.4M since inception. Investors in the round include Foundation Capital and Global Environment Fund. The company will use the proceeds to support its growth plan, including investments in research and development, launching new products such as Seed Cashless and Seed Enterprise, exploring acquisition opportunities, and hiring talented professionals. Cantaloupe was founded by Mandeep Arora and Anant Agrawal.
