The company believes AI-augmented human sensibilities can create unprecedented “emotion and immersion,” shifting entertainment from something audiences watch to something they help create. With its latest funding, Saishin Technologies will accelerate development of original IP, strengthen its operating structure and aggressively recruit artists, directors and producers. The firm also intends to scale its content for global distribution while building an entertainment infrastructure for the next generation. Founder and CEO Xiaokan Hayashi leads the team from the company’s headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Former ANYCOLOR COO Taiki Iwanaga has joined as a strategic advisor to support growth. Including the current round, the company’s cumulative funding totals roughly ¥200 million.
