Saltlab is a mobile game studio formed by developers of online FPS titles AVA and Metro Conflict. The company is developing Newborn, a high‑spec third‑person shooter (TPS) with a post‑apocalyptic setting that adds RPG elements for survival and progression. Newborn targets a high‑end FPS experience on mobile and uses advanced graphics. In May the studio signed a publishing (distribution) deal with Kakao's 'KakaoGameS'. Saltlab was founded in September last year. Its disclosed financing to date totals ₩6.0 billion.
