  • Whif

    Participated · Series A · Aug 2026

Whif is an interactive content platform that enables users to form relationships with AI characters and generate evolving narratives through conversation, with anyone able to create and share characters. The service emphasizes relationship- and story-driven interactions rather than predetermined question-and-answer responses, positioning users as creators as well as consumers. Launched in mid-2025, Whif achieved rapid growth: paying users average 217 minutes of daily engagement, payment volume grew at an average monthly rate of 110% over nine months, and monthly revenue expanded 1,000-fold within a year. Whif operates in 13 countries and derives roughly 40% of revenue from overseas markets, targeting over 60% by year-end. The company plans to move the product into a multimodal phase—integrating images and video and extending characters into IP like webtoons, videos, and games—and is expanding headcount across development, planning, design, and marketing to support these plans.

  • a2sys

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2026

a2sys is developing a software platform aimed at optimising memory utilisation and data movement for AI infrastructure. The company was co-founded by former Samsung and Naver executive Lee Dong-soo and KAIST professor Yu Min-soo and was founded shortly before its seed round. It positions itself as a connector between memory manufacturers (including Samsung and SK Hynix) and AI service providers rather than as a chip maker. The founders argue that AI's evolution toward agentic systems is shifting bottlenecks from GPU computation to memory and data transfer efficiency. a2sys announced a KRW 16 billion (about $11M) seed raise to support development of its platform.

  • Config

    Participated · Seed · May 2026

Config records humans performing physical tasks in controlled studio environments and in the field, then converts that data to better suit robotic motion and interaction. The company operates data production out of Seoul and Hanoi with a workforce of nearly 300 and has accumulated over 100,000 hours of human motion data. Config’s approach emphasizes transforming data before training so models work more effectively for robots rather than retraining models on mismatched data. The startup counts large manufacturers, system integrators, and customers in agriculture and defense as current customers and is already generating revenue. Founded in January 2025 by CEO Minjoon Seo and three co-founders with backgrounds at Meta, Waymo, Google and Naver, Config plans to scale to one million hours of data, grow enterprise ARR to $10 million by end of 2027, and launch a cloud-based Robot-as-a-Service offering.

  • Tynapse

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2026

Tinaps builds an "AI Trust Layer" to validate AI agent outputs and execution in real time, targeting environments that require high reliability and regulatory compliance such as finance and the public sector. Its system reviews AI-generated responses and execution results before external delivery, blocks incorrect reasoning, numerical and logical errors, internal data leakage, and jailbreak attempts, and automatically stores tamper-proof audit records for liability tracking. The team was founded by CEO Kang Min-seung, who drew on experience as a fintech CTO, and includes AI researchers from Google Research and engineers with large-scale traffic experience. Tinaps is conducting PoCs with major domestic commercial banks and has received recognition in startup competitions hosted by global tech firms like NVIDIA and Snowflake. Financially, the company has raised about ₩4.9 billion in cumulative funding within eight months of founding (including a pre-seed from Mashup Ventures and a ~₩4.5 billion seed) and has secured up to ₩800 million in TIPS R&D grant support. The company plans to further develop finance-specific verification models from PoC data and to expand into other regulated sectors such as healthcare and public services.
