Sancare offers an AI-driven software platform that automates and optimizes hospital billing by predicting billing codes from patients' electronic health records using NLP. The company works with twenty major players in both the private and public sectors, including the AHNAC group and the Curie Institute. It plans to use recent funding to accelerate both technical and commercial development of the solution and to strengthen its team, particularly at the R&D level. On 13 August 2019 Sancare raised €1m in funding. Backers named in the round include Elaia Partners (PSL Innovation Fund), Davidson Group and business angels such as Franck Le Ouay and Romain Niccoli. The platform is positioned for further commercial rollout within healthcare facilities.
