SatVu is a UK-based thermal Earth-observation company that captures 3.5-metre resolution infrared imagery day and night to provide intelligence on buildings, industrial sites, and other strategic assets. Its data helps government, defence, and industrial customers detect heat signatures linked to operational changes, assess readiness, and monitor climate-related emissions. The company currently operates a single demonstration satellite but is transitioning to a multi-satellite constellation; two new satellites are slated for launch in 2026 and a further three are already under contract. This expanded fleet will boost revisit frequency, enabling near-continuous monitoring of global activity. Beyond defence, SatVu’s imagery supports sectors such as steel, cement, data centres, oil & gas, and solar energy. Following the latest raise, SatVu has secured £60 million in total equity funding to date, providing capital for constellation build-out and commercial scaling.
