The company raised its second round of funding of an undisclosed amount with backers including Intel Capital and existing investor Inventus Capital. It intends to use the funds for market and team expansion and to implement advanced technologies. Savaari Car Rentals is a Bangalore-headquartered company offering chauffeur-driven car rental bookings online, operating across India excluding the North East, with a customer care centre in Dehradun. The service aggregates a network of over 100 operators across 60 cities and targets corporate customers, retail users, and online travel agents for day trips, multi-day tours and multi-city trips. The company has implemented an integrated backend engine for booking management and automated billing to support operations. Following the raise, Savaari plans to scale up its marketing team, establish a robust sales network across cities, and further invest in technology solutions to enhance customer experience. Prior to this round the business was bootstrapped. Inventus representatives will join the board to support the company’s growth.
