Scandy develops tools that convert depth-aware and 360 photography into full-color 3D prints, including spherical prints for 360 cameras. Scandy runs a gallery of sample prints to showcase its output and workflows. The company aims to make capture, sharing and ordering of 3D prints simple for average consumers. Scandy announced a $1 million angel/seed investment to help bring the technology to a broader audience. An Android app was promised to arrive by the end of the month.
