SeeChange Technologies builds a Visual AI platform, SeeWare®, that processes video from retailers' existing hardware to enhance self-checkout, preempt stockouts, improve safety, and reduce loss. SeeWare is designed to be easily deployed and scaled across the retail enterprise and has been piloted and commercially trialed by customers and partners including Diebold Nixdorf. Led by CEO Jason Souloglou, the company specializes in making real-time AI recognition systems simple to deploy and scale in the real world. Founded in 2018 as a subsidiary of Arm Holdings, SeeChange became independent in 2021 with investment from Crane Venture Partners and is based in Manchester, UK. The company plans to use the new funding to expand commercial deployment and strengthen its commercial and support teams. Its stated mission is to help humanity thrive through visual AI technology.
