Seed-X Technologies builds AI-powered, image-based seed and grain sorting systems that integrate machine vision and deep-learning algorithms to optimize sorting at the single seed and grain level. The company plans to use its newly raised $10M Series A to accelerate development, expand market reach of its technology, and pursue collaborations and partnerships toward future food-industry solutions. The Series A brings the company’s total funding to $20M. Founded in 2018 as part of Nacre Capital by Moti Shniberg and Sarel Ashkenazy, Seed-X operates out of California with offices in the Netherlands and Israel and serves over 50 customers worldwide. Seed-X has pursued strategic industry partnerships, including an October 2021 collaboration agreement with Petkus, and was selected to the RisingFoodStars Network to support development of its AI solution for the grain industry.
