Selexys Pharmaceuticals, led by Dr. Scott Rollins, develops therapeutics focused on inflammation, thrombosis and metastasis across severe diseases. Its lead asset is SelG1, an anti‑P‑selectin antibody, and the company is also developing an anti‑PSGL‑1 antibody targeting Crohn’s disease, multiple myeloma and other inflammatory disorders. Selexys intends to use the new funding to advance SelG1 through a large Phase 2 study in sickle cell patients and to support the anti‑PSGL‑1 program through a Phase I study. The company closed a $23m Series A equity financing to fund these programs. Selexys is based in Oklahoma City, OK, and has an agreement with Novartis that grants Novartis an exclusive option to acquire the company and SelG1 following completion of the Phase 2 study, with potential payments of up to $665m. As part of the investment, Todd Foley of MPM Capital joined Selexys’s board of directors.
