Selligion Technologies, founded in 2020 by Naman Chakraborty and Apeksha Mehta, develops Praho, a direct-to-consumer hybrid cloud-based computer and the Selligion Abacca OS. Praho is positioned to provide affordable computers to Indian students at a subscription price target of Rs 399 or less. The company plans manufacturing improvements and R&D to support its upcoming phase of expansion and expects a multifold increase in manufacturing capacity to reach over 1 lakh students by March 2024. Selligion intends to offer advanced, accessible computers across India through a subscription-based business model aimed at building digital skills. Financially, the company has completed a pre-Series A and previously raised a seed round, and will deploy new capital toward manufacturing and product development.
