SEMIFIVE provides platform-based system-on-chip (SoC) design solutions, leveraging configurable domain-specific architectures and pre-validated IP pools to reduce chip development cost and schedule. Its spec-to-system, end-to-end offering targets AI, edge compute, AIoT and data-acceleration applications, with designs implemented on Samsung Foundry’s advanced FinFET process nodes. Several AI-focused semiconductor startups including FuriosaAI, Rebellions and Mobilint are customers. The company plans to add high-performance compute and automotive platforms and will use Series B proceeds to accelerate design platform deployment, new technologies, scale R&D and engineering teams, and build IP capabilities.
