SEMIFIVE provides platform-based system-on-chip (SoC) design solutions, leveraging configurable domain-specific architectures and pre-validated IP pools to reduce chip development cost and schedule. Its spec-to-system, end-to-end offering targets AI, edge compute, AIoT and data-acceleration applications, with designs implemented on Samsung Foundry’s advanced FinFET process nodes. Several AI-focused semiconductor startups including FuriosaAI, Rebellions and Mobilint are customers. The company plans to add high-performance compute and automotive platforms and will use Series B proceeds to accelerate design platform deployment, new technologies, scale R&D and engineering teams, and build IP capabilities. SEMIFIVE is scaling its U.S. strategy and expanding sales, customer and technical support organizations while supporting more than 300 employees across the United States, India, Vietnam and Korea. Founded in 2019, SEMIFIVE is a Samsung Foundry SAFETM DSP partner and positions itself as a global hub for custom silicon.
