SendSquared is a Minneapolis, MN-based marketing communications technology platform for the hospitality industry led by Nicolas Wegener. Its platform supports email marketing, SMS, voice, CRM and other channels to enable resorts and hospitality organizations to build customer relationships and increase direct bookings. The application lets hospitality representatives interact with guests in real time and leverage guest data using the same communication infrastructure as online travel agencies. The company currently serves more than 100 resorts, hoteliers, and VRMCs. SendSquared raised $1M in seed funding led by Cobalt Capital Partners. It intends to use the proceeds to enhance the product, expand sales, marketing and product development teams, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
