Overview
Sensolus builds stick-on wireless trackers and a cloud SaaS platform to track non-powered assets across supply chains and industrial manufacturing. The sticker sensors last seven years without charging and can communicate in real time without additional infrastructure. The SaaS platform combines sensor data with existing process data to generate supply chain metrics and help optimise logistics. The product is used in 15 countries by customers including Airbus, Volvo, AB InBev, SUEZ and T.C.R. Founded in 2013 and based in Ghent, Sensolus plans to expand throughout Europe and the US and to broaden the types of omnipresent assets its solution can connect. The company recently raised funding to develop and expand its logistics system and product. Ghent-based Sensolus develops an industrial IoT tracking and monitoring system called STICKNTRACK. Its customers include Airbus, which uses the system together with the Sigfox network to track aircraft components between different sites. The company is currently active in Europe and plans to use the new funding to grow internationally. Sensolus said it will invest strongly in its sales and business teams as part of that expansion. It raised €2.75 million from Capricorn ICT Arkiv and Quest for Growth to fuel international growth. Capricorn’s Marc Lambrechts will be joining Sensolus’ board.
