Sgnam offers a real-time management platform and app to order food from a range of local restaurants, including pizza, sushi and pasta. Co-founded in 2012 by Giovanni Cavallo (business development) and Lorenzo Lelli (CTO), the company was incubated by Nana Bianca. It launched in Bologna and has expanded into Modena, Reggio Emilia and Florence. Sgnam positions itself as quick and cheap, aiming to make local food delivery more efficient and to save customers time and money. The platform has processed more than 5,000 orders. The company raised €50k in seed funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand geographically, acquire users and hire new staff.
