Its offerings include UNGUESS Experience for UX/customer experience optimization, UNGUESS Quality for software defect and bug verification, and UNGUESS Security, which leverages a crowd of 500 certified Italian ethical hackers. The company employs more than 80 professionals and serves over 300 clients across Italian and international companies, including Pirelli, Costa Crociere, Sky Italia, ING, Enel, Lottomatica, Intesa Sanpaolo and Axa. Unguess plans to use the new funding to consolidate its position in the Italian market, strengthen expansion into other strategic European countries, and support development of its platform with new solutions, content and services. The business has expanded its range of tests across digital products and physical devices to provide relevant tests, insights, and feedback from real users on a variety of digital devices and interfaces. AppQuality is a Milan-based provider of a crowdtesting platform that helps companies detect defects and optimize customer experience across apps, websites, e-commerce platforms, IoT devices and chatbots. The platform leverages a community of approximately 14,000 qualified testers to evaluate and improve digital solutions. Clients include around 100 companies, among them Pirelli, BMW, Bending Spoons, Unicredit, Moncler, Allianz, Enel, Vodafone and Dyson. Founded in 2015 by Luca Manara (CEO), Edoardo Vannutelli and Filippo Renga, the company was accelerated within PoliHub. AppQuality raised €3m in funding from investors including P101 SGR, ITA500, Italian Angels for Growth (IAG), Club degli Investitori and Club Italia Investimenti 2. The company intends to use the funds for international expansion and to develop additional solutions.

    WeSchool provides teachers with a digital classroom platform to share documents and video, set exercises, facilitate discussions, and enable group work and tests. The platform supports new methods such as the teach-to-learn approach. During the lockdown period the platform enabled over 1 million users to continue lessons via smartphone or PC. Founded in 2016 and led by founder and CEO Marco De Rossi, the company is based in Milan, Italy. WeSchool raised €6.4M in funding and intends to use the proceeds to continue expanding operations and its business reach. The company's board includes Andrea Laudadio (President) for TIM, Andrea Di Camillo (P101), Anna Paola Concia and Salvo Mizzi. WeSchool is an online learning platform launched by Italian MOOC Oilproject that helps teachers bring classroom activities online and integrate third-party educational content. The product uses 'Boards' to combine videos, articles, tools and services (Khan Academy, BBC, Geogebra, Duolingo, Wikipedia, Google Docs, Dropbox, Instagram) into single learning journeys usable on any connected device. It provides teacher tools to manage deadlines and create tests with nine question types, including video quizzes, crosswords, fill-in-the-blanks and pair-the-cards, turning exercises into mini games playable on mobile and desktop. WeSchool is initially available in English, Spanish and Italian and is positioned to compete with LMS platforms like Moodle and EdModo by focusing on in-class engagement rather than distance-only MOOCs. The company plans to sell annual software-as-a-service licenses to schools and companies. WeSchool builds on Oilproject's existing scale: Oilproject reports 1.7 million unique visitors per month and more than 18,000 hours studied per day. The project was started by Marco De Rossi and the company was incorporated in 2011.

The company provides a SaaS platform that enables Italian agri-food companies to manage their business and optimize cost and timing, as well as a B2B platform dedicated to buyers. Led by CEO Andrea Nardi Dei and hosted by NanaBianca in Florence, Vino75 combines direct-to-consumer retail with enterprise software for the hospitality and food sectors. The company signed a cooperation agreement with Alibaba’s TMAll Direct to bring 10 Italian wineries to the Chinese market, with plans to increase that number to at least 100. Vino75 raised €1.5m and intends to use the funds to develop its platform internationally and to consolidate the domestic market with new dedicated services for the Hotellerie-Restaurant-Café industry. Vino75 is a wine ecommerce company based in Florence, Italy, that combines technology and tradition to sell wine online. It offers a catalog of over 900 labels from 200 producers and serves 37,000 subscribers. The company was co-founded by Andrea Nardi-Dei, Elisa Scapin, Diego Di Sepio and Francesco Limberti and was incubated at Florence-based accelerator NanaBianca. Vino75 intends to use new funding to expand into international markets and extend its catalog by adding producers from abroad. The company has set a growth target to reach 300k subscribers.

    Le Cicogne provides an online and mobile platform that allows families to find and book vetted babysitters. Co-founded in 2013 by CEO Monica Archibugi and COO Giulia Gazzelloni, the company is based in Rome, Italy. It was accelerated within Luiss Enlabs and later supported by Pi-Campus via its Pi-Internship program. The service is currently present in 83 cities with 3,000 families using the platform. The company plans to reach 120 cities in the next months and intends to use the funds to consolidate and expand its presence in Italy, with a later expansion into Europe. Le Cicogne is an online platform that connects families with vetted babysitters and other childcare services, including baby & teen taxi, tutoring and baby party services. Service providers (called cicogne) are trained and vetted 18–30 year olds who access job opportunities online. Families upload queries on the website and choose between offers; the company also offers B2B services to companies and hotels. Led by CEO Monica Archibugi, CTO Valentina Tibaldo and COO Giulia Gazzelloni, Le Cicogne was incubated and accelerated within Luiss Enlabs. The company will use the new funding to grow its customer base in Rome and Milan and to finalize development of its mobile app. It raised €85K at an €850K valuation and is seeking a further €40K by October 2014. Le Cicogne operates a marketplace that connects parents with babysitters, baby-teachers and baby-taxi drivers. The service targets students aged 18–28, offering a subscription model to find flexible job opportunities. Members must pass a certification test and meet the team in person before accepting opportunities. Parents can register for free, submit entry requests and choose among candidates. The company is incubated in Enlabs. It will use the funds from the micro-seed to grow operations.

    Agata S.p.A. owns Prestiamoci, an Italian peer-to-peer lending platform. The company intends to use the €2m to enhance its team and platform and to grow operations in the Italian market. Led by Daniele Loro, Prestiamoci was sold to TrustBuddy International AB in November 2014 for approximately €5.3m, but that acquisition was interrupted in June 2015 and TrustBuddy declared bankruptcy in October 2015. The investment was made as part of Prestiamoci’s relaunch and growth plans. Agata-owned PituPay received a licence as a Payment Institute from Banca d'Italia to manage financial flows without support from external banks and credit institutions.
