Founded in 2020 by Vikram Chopra and former Cisco and Juniper Networks CTO Harpreet Geekee, the company focuses on helping customers tap into 5G, Advanced LTE, WiFi 6 and 6G capabilities. Its product targets enterprises and service providers looking to accelerate development and deployment of network-aware applications. Shabodi recently raised $10.3M in a Series A to expand its business reach and support global expansion. Ramesh Kaza joined earlier this year as President & Chief Commercial Officer to support the company’s global expansion. The company has also added veteran telecom entrepreneur Joe Beatty to its board alongside investors Bruce Taragin and Vishal Makhijani. Shabodi builds an application enablement platform that abstracts 5G network complexity and exposes simple APIs so developers can create Industry 4.0 and enterprise applications. The company targets enterprises, system integrators and telecommunications firms aiming to monetize 5G deployments and accelerate return on investment. Founded in 2020 by telecom veterans Vikram Chopra and Harpreet Geekee, Shabodi positions itself as a bridge between 5G infrastructure and application developers. It is already working with customers and is in talks with about a dozen enterprises. The startup has 15 employees and holds two patents, with a third patent expected next year. Shabodi plans to use new funding to build out product and sales teams and to ready its first product for public consumption by the end of this year.
