- Anything World
Participated · Seed · Nov 2022
Anything World provides a platform for developing interactive 3D experiences using 3D-object automation technology. The platform allows users to request, see, manipulate and experience anything in 3D with behaviors applied. A key component is the combination of voice computing with behavioral intelligence. Led by CEO Gordon Midwood, the company powers games such as Avatar Runner, Coheed and Cambria, Ubisoft Rabbids and the Pink Planet Experience. The company raised $7.5M in Series Seed Plus funding to secure two years of runway, expand the team and launch a new high-fidelity animation system. The new animation system is intended to allow anyone to become a 3D content creator. Anything World has built a deep‑tech platform that conjures 3D environments and objects from spoken requests using AI, natural language processing, computer vision and a large library of remixable 3D assets. The company analyses open-source and available assets, then algorithmically assigns animations and behaviours to produce ready‑made content. It has launched a public beta and says the technology currently reduces gaming production time and costs by around 40 percent. Anything World is working with major partners including Ubisoft, Instagram, Facebook and Warner Music, and sees applications beyond gaming in education, marketing and other creative industries. The team expects even greater adoption as mixed‑reality wearables from companies like Apple, Facebook and Snapchat become affordable. Founded in 2018 and based in London, the startup recently completed a funding round that supports continued product development and commercial partnerships.
