ShopZetu is a Kenyan multibrand fashion and lifestyle marketplace that aggregates local manufacturers, traders and imported brands under one digital roof. It launched in Kenya in 2021 and currently hosts over 300 vendors with more than 20,000 products listed. The platform has served over 30,000 customers and sold more than 100,000 products, recording a greater than 400% increase in monthly orders since January 2021. Vendors onboard for free and pay commissions for sales, and can purchase subsidized services such as content, digital marketing, warehousing, last-mile delivery and returns management. ShopZetu plans to expand its category mix into beauty, skincare, hair and home décor, attract international brands and more than triple its vendor base to 1,000. It also plans to trial regional delivery services in Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda as it scales beyond Kenya. The company was co-founded by Marvin Kiragu and Wandia Gichuru.
