Simulity Labs is an Internet of Things (IoT) development company providing embedded communications software for SIM, eSIM and next‑generation connected products. Founded in 2009 by CEO Stephane Fund, the company is based in Bangor, Wales and also operates offices in Belfast and Cape Town. It serves a worldwide customer base including over 45 mobile network operators and delivers software for over 5 million SIM cards per month. The company completed a £4m growth funding round with Foresight Group investing via its Foresight VCT vehicle. Simulity intends to use the funds to grow its SIM and SIM operating system market share targeting Tier‑1 smart card OEMs and module vendors and to expand into new markets.
