The channel offers over 2,300 songs, adds dozens more weekly, and is reportedly the only karaoke channel YouTube allows to operate due to licensing restrictions. It is approaching 7.5 million subscribers and generates over 90 million views per month. The company says its revenues are “starting to be very impressive,” and AIN noted strong investor interest during the raise. Sing King plans to use the recent funding to launch standalone iOS and Android apps and a web platform to make its karaoke content more widely accessible. The pandemic-driven increase in at-home entertainment consumption is expected to accelerate the business’s growth trajectory.
