3000 Clearview Way, San Mateo, California, 94402-3710, United States
Overview
Skydio develops and manufactures autonomous multirotor drones and docked response systems, with three platforms shipping today including the X10, X10D, and the indoor R10. The company exited the consumer market in 2023 to focus on defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure customers and reports substantial commercial traction with deployments across more than 1,200 public safety agencies and 45 of 51 state transportation agencies. Management says Skydio generates “hundreds of millions” in annual revenue, has shipped over 60,000 drones, flown more than 3.7 million customer missions, and serves over 3,800 enterprise customers. Notable contracts cited include a reported $52 million U.S. Army order for nearly 3,000 X10D drones and an €18 million contract with Spain. Skydio operates a Hayward, California factory it describes as the highest-throughput autonomous multirotor production line in the U.S. and plans to scale that facility to meet military and municipal demand. The company intends to use proceeds to scale production, expand its product lineup, and support deployments across public safety, defense, critical infrastructure, and site security.
