Slapdash
461 2nd Street, Unit 460, San Francisco, California, 94107, United States
Overview
Slapdash provides a low-latency command-line style widget that users can pull up with a keyboard shortcut to search and act across connected cloud apps. The product indexes services including Slack, Zoom, Jira and about 20 other apps, and also offers a full desktop app where users can create folders, commands and custom keyboard shortcuts. Slapdash is available on Mac, Windows, Linux and the web and positions itself as a neutral platform that does not replace connected applications. The company offers a free tier (index up to five apps and create 10 commands/spaces) and a $12/month paid plan, with enterprise pricing for organization-wide deployments. Founder Ivan Kanevski previously spent nearly six years as a software engineer at Facebook and modeled parts of the UX on tools like Superhuman and internal Facebook tooling. The team says it aims to make the tool essential to startups and to scale into larger organizations by leveraging individual user utility and a more customized enterprise offering.
